Zelenskyy Throws a Fit After U.S.-Russia Riyadh Meeting

Volodymyr Zelenskyy threw a fit about the U.S.-Russia meeting in Riyadh, in which he announced that he would be postponing his trip to Saudi Arabia until March. “Decisions on how to end the war in Ukraine cannot be made without Ukraine, nor can certain conditions be imposed,” he whined, reported Ukrinform. “We were not invited to this Russian-American meeting in Saudi Arabia—it came as a surprise to us, as I believe it did to many others. We learned about it from the media. I don’t know who will stay there, who will leave, or who is planning to go where. To be honest, I don’t really care. What matters to me is how our partners perceive us. We are absolutely honest and transparent. I don’t want any misunderstandings, which is why I will not be going to Saudi Arabia.”

Zelenskyy continued his desperate ranting today by claiming that Trump is living in a Russian disinformation space. “Unfortunately, President Trump—I have great respect for him as a leader of a nation that we have great respect for, the American people who always support us—unfortunately lives in this disinformation space,” he told reporters in Kiev, reported CNN. Zelenskyy was responding, in part, to Trump’s comment yesterday that “You should have never started it. You could have made a deal,” to stop the war.
