March 21, 2025 (EIRNS)—The German upper house of Parliament, the Bundesrat, ratified the “Staatsstreich” concocted by the Red-Green-Black coalition government and already approved by the Bundestag. Helga Zepp-LaRouche and prominent Constitutionalists characterized the decision as a coup d'état (Staatsstreich) because the life of the outvoted Bundestag was stretched to the limit in order to allow a constitutional change, which would not have achieved a two-thirds vote in the new Bundestag.
