March 25, 2025 (EIRNS)—A new report by the China Cybersecurity Industry Alliance (CCIA), titled “Mobile Cyberattacks Conducted by U.S. Intelligence Agencies,” accuses U.S. intelligence agencies of conducting large-scale, long-term cyberattacks targeting global mobile users. The report claims these operations span mobile devices, supply chains, networks, and app ecosystems, affecting both high-profile individuals and ordinary users worldwide.
According to English-language coverage of the report, as published in Global Times, findings include the following:

• Capabilities: The U.S. has used “zero-click” vulnerabilities requiring no user interaction, purchased software like Pegasus, and exploited browser vulnerabilities to plant spyware on devices.
