March 4, 2025 (EIRNS)—An anonymous Pentagon official has denied that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has ordered a halt to offensive cyber operations against Russia. Hegseth has neither canceled nor delayed any cyber operations directed against malicious Russian targets, and there has been no stand-down order whatsoever from that priority, the official told Bloomberg.
