March 21, 2025 (EIRNS)—According to data from the World Health Organization, China’s per capita suicide rate has plunged in the 21st century. The number of suicides per 100,000 people in China fell from 16.5 in 2000 to only 6.8 in 2021, a reduction of approximately 60%.
