March 10, 2025 (EIRNS)—On March 9, U.S. President Donald Trump strongly re-asserted to host Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News talk show, “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo,” that “monster” nuclear weapons could “end the world,” adding that it “could happen tomorrow,” the Fox News transcript reports.

Trump has come back to the nuclear threat to civilization three times during the last month, sometimes within the context of the NATO-proxy war in Ukraine.

In his March 9 Fox News interview, Trump stated: “We spend a lot of money on nuclear missiles, nuclear weapons. The level of destruction is beyond anything you can even imagine. It’s just bad that everybody has to spend all this money on something that, if it’s used, it’s probably the end of the world.”

Bartiromo’s response was, “Wow. I don’t know what to say to that.”
