March 15, 2025 (EIRNS)—U.S. President Donald Trump is optimistic that Russian President Vladimir Putin is going to agree to a ceasefire in the Ukraine war. When asked on “Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson” on March 14 whether he has any plan in case the Russian President doesn’t agree to the ceasefire, Trump said, “Bad news for this world, because so many people are dying [in Ukraine], but I think he’s going to agree. I really do. I think I know him pretty well and I think he’s going to agree,” he said.
