NASA’s favorite time of the year is April which is its “Citizen Science” month, when the space agency invites amateur scientists, students, or just the “curious” from around the world to participate in ongoing NASA research projects. NASA is currently focused on 33 research programs in which citizens can make meaningful contributions to science in their backyard or on their personal computer without any specialized equipment. NASA has a goal of 1 million “acts of science” during the month of April.
