Joint Chiefs Nominee Testifies at Confirmation Hearing

President Donald Trump’s pick, yesterday, to be chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Dan Caine, appeared before the Senate Armed Services Committee for his confirmation hearing. But if all you saw about it was the headlines in the corporate news media you’d think that the only important matter discussed was whether he ever wore a MAGA hat as Trump has claimed.
