CORRECTION: Germany's Taurus Missiles Not Nuclear-Capable

The lead of the June 2 Morning Briefing inadvertently included a phrase describing the German Taurus cruise missile as “capable of carrying nuclear warheads.” The Taurus missile is not known to be nuclear-capable and Germany is not a nuclear armed state outside of the presence of the U.S. B61 nuclear bombs that are in Germany as part of NATO’s nuclear sharing program, remain controlled by the U.S.
