For the seventh year, the Manhattan-based New Tang Dynasty (NTD) TV Channel and Epoch Times, two media outlets created by the Falun Gong cult to promote “regime change” in Beijing, have organized their “NTD International Figure Painting Competition.”
In 1950, the Congress for Cultural Freedom, controlled by Allen Dulles and a later CIA front called the Fairfield Foundation, imposed “lyrical abstract” (modern and later contemporary art) on the world in order to promote the values of the Anglo-American Empire (free-trade and total personal “freedom"). Today, the NTD, in a sneaky move to attract young talents, is using “classical art” as a new weapon for their new “cultural” Cold War.
“The painting competition encourages artistic excellence within the Western oil painting tradition and provides artist[s] with a platform to showcase their skills, talent, and vision while contributing to the revival of traditional classical/realist oil painting,” reads the website’s notice “About the Competition.” No IA creations allowed here! The competition wants to celebrate “the power of traditional values, inviting artists to create oil paintings with the central theme of pure truth, pure kindness, and pure beauty.”
In a typically Delphic operation, NTD TV then says the world needs art that “uplifts” and doesn’t degrade, arguments which will sound like those of the Schiller Institute to the gullible.
