The Guardian reports that U.K. Energy Minister Ed Miliband will lecture the MPs that to deny emergency measures are required to counter climate change is “betraying future generations.” The heat wave in the U.K. and throughout Europe should prove that Net Zero emissions are required, he and other climate fanatics are insisting.
The report in The Guardian notes: “Reform has pledged to scrap all net zero policies and subsidies for renewable energy. The Conservatives, who put into law the commitment to reach net zero by 2050 under Theresa May, abandoned the target this year.” Even the Labour Party, they whine, has cut back its climate targets. Miliband screamed that the “British way of life,” as it currently exists, is threatened without proper action.
