Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) declared in a series of social postings on July 3, “I will NOT vote for more Ukraine funding. Zelenskyy canceled elections. Sources say U.S. weapons are being sold on the black market. He DISRESPECTED our President and VP. BILLIONS have been laundered there.”
Of no little note, she then added: “They put AMERICAN JOURNALISTS on a blacklist.” Then she ended with: “PEACE is the ONLY OPTION. That does NOT happen by GIVING them MORE WEAPONS.”
Then she added a third: “Zelenskyy BANNED THE ORTHODOX CHURCH. I CAN PROMISE THERE WILL BE NO WEAPONS FUNDING FOR YOU NEGOTIATE FOR PEACE. WE ARE NOT YOUR PIGGY BANK.”
That was enough to provoke some counterattacks, including a defense of Kiev for banning the largest church in Ukraine, the historic Ukrainian Orthodox Church. (The UOC, which has shared a thousand-year history with the Russian Orthodox Church, declared its independence from the ROC in 2022—yet Kiev is not satisfied.) She responded, posting: “Oh man. The Ukraine bots are big mad about this one. ‘It WaS OKaY bc IT waS Russian OrThODox.’ All of a sudden these pro-war shills are religion experts and also telepathic, as they are CERTAIN not one Christian went to those churches to worship God. Imagine if we did that in the States. Hypocrites.”
Add to this the Telegram post by former Prime Minister of Ukraine Nikolai Azarov, now a leader (with Glazyev) of the Club of People’s Unity:
