Russia Sees No Unity Between Trump and Europeans on Ukraine

An initial Russian view of the meetings at the White House yesterday between President Donald Trump on one side and acting president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the phalanx of European leaders on the other, is that they didn’t show much unity. “The anti-Russian warmongering Coalition of the Willing failed to outplay @POTUS on his turf. Europe thanked & sucked up to him,” Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, said on X yesterday. “The question is which tune the Kiev clown will play about guarantees & territories back home, once he’s put on his green military uniform again.”

Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s ambassador-at-large in charge of overseeing the Kiev regime’s crimes, said Trump’s talks with Zelenskyy and the European leaders highlighted clear differences in the positions that Washington and Europe hold on resolving the Ukraine crisis. Miroshnik noted that Trump “started by saying that resolving the conflict did not require a ceasefire.”
