China Opens World's Tallest Bridge

China officially opened the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, the world’s tallest, on Sept. 21. The bridge is on the Beipanjiang River in the Pearl River Basin. Construction on this engineering marvel began in January 2022.

The stunning bridge has to be seen to be believed. A short video shows the bridge towering over the valley it crosses at a height of 625 meters (2,050 feet) above river level.
