Europeans Convene UNSC To Condemn Russia for Alleged Airspace Violations

The UN Security Council, at the request of Estonia, met yesterday in what amounted to a kangaroo court convened to condemn Russia for allegedly “testing” NATO by the use of airspace violations using drones and manned aircraft.

Mike Waltz, just sworn in as U.S. Ambassador to the UN, wasted no time insisting: “As we said nine days ago, the United States stands by our NATO allies in the face of these airspace violations. And I want to take this first opportunity to repeat, and to emphasize, the United States and our allies will defend every inch of NATO territory,” Waltz remarked, reported The Hill. “Russia must urgently stop such dangerous behavior.”

Among those on the bandwagon with him was British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper. “Your reckless actions risk direct armed confrontation between NATO and Russia. Our alliance is defensive but be under no illusion we stand ready to defend NATO’s skies and NATO’s territory,” she said, addressing Russia. “If we need to confront planes operating in NATO space without permission, then we will do so.”

Andrii Sybiha, the Kiev regime’s foreign minister, was there, too, always ready to try to goad NATO into war against Russia. “A strong response means that a threat should not be escorted, neither for 12 minutes, nor for 1 minute. It should be neutralized,” he said.
