Israeli Arms Manufacturer Closes U.K. Facility Following Protests

A manufacturing facility in Bristol, operated by Israel’s largest arms producer Elbit Systems, has been shut down, following repeated protests outside its gates. Reporters from Britain’s The Guardian did not get a direct confirmation from the company, but reported that the facility was “deserted” when they visited it.

The facility, in the Aztec West industrial park, is not the same as the Elbit factory in Filton, Bristol, which has also been the site of protests.
