German Military Expert Gen. Kujat: 'There Is a Risk of Ukraine's Disintegration'

In an interview with the Swiss magazine Die Weltwoche, reported by TASS, Gen. (ret) Harald Kujat, former head of the NATO Military Committee (2002-2005) and former Inspector General of the German Armed Forces (2000-2002), stated that there is currently a very real risk that Ukraine could simply disintegrate as a nation. “The Ukrainian army is in such a state that an organized, effective defense is no longer possible,” Kujat stated. Casualties are “extremely high,” and “Ukrainian president [Zelensky) has virtually no public support, especially given recent events and the corruption scandals that are erupting daily. This means there is a risk of Ukraine’s disintegration,” Kujat said.
