U.S. Envoy for Ukraine Planning To Leave Trump Administration in January

The Kiev regime was jolted on Nov. 19 by the news, first reported by Reuters that Keith Kellogg, the White House special envoy for Ukraine, would be leaving the administration in January 2026. Reuters explains that “special presidential envoy” is a temporary designation, and such envoys must, in theory, be confirmed by the Senate to stay in their positions past 360 days. Kellogg has indicated that January would be a natural departure point, given existing legislation, said Reuters’ sources. Reuters noted that Kellogg was widely viewed by European diplomats, Ukrainians included, as a sympathetic ear in the administration, who has, several times, more than leaned toward Moscow’s view on the origins of the war in Ukraine.
