Zakharova Reveals, Tanker Attack Designed To Obstruct Ukraine Settlement

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Sunday, Nov. 30, that Kiev’s recent attacks on two oil tankers in the Black Sea are designed to obstruct a negotiated solution to the Ukraine war. According to Sputnik, Zakharova wrote on the Foreign Ministry website: “We see a direct connection with attempts to hinder ongoing international efforts to bring about a sustainable peace.… Those are the same forces that once disrupted dialogue on a settlement. Now they are not only once again demonstrating the inability to negotiate and the puppet nature of the Ukrainian clique, which has lost touch with reality, but are also openly seeking armed escalation.”
