After more than two years, Gaza’s Islamic University resumed in-person classes on Nov. 29, reported Al Jazeera. Many of the buildings had been damaged or destroyed during Israel’s war there, but the university has managed to hold classes in the buildings that remain. In released pictures and video, one can see the buildings filled to the brim with students. The Ministry of Education of Gaza has reportedly been involved in the reopening, and is coordinating the reopening of other educational institutions across Gaza.
