For the Dec. 6 “Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the head of the Directorate of Military Intelligence (HRU) Kyrylo Budanov arranged for a bit of propaganda in support of the long-discredited “Bucha” narrative by blowing up a vehicle and killing two Russian soldiers.
The HRU announcement claims that, since the two were from Russia’s 76th Air Assault Division, they are responsible for the war crimes at Bucha in 2022. It reads:
