Retired Italian General Reveals, NATO Is Already in a War Against Russia

Whereas NATO Military Committee Chairman Adm. Cavo Dragone’s interview with Financial Times has provoked strong rejections in Italy, including from government members, his former colleague, Gen. Fabio Mini, warns that NATO is already in a war against Russia and will launch a preemptive attack. NATO Supreme Commander Gen. Christopher Cavoli has already stated that NATO is preparing for an attack that should be so devastating as to not allow Russia to react. “If we do not succeed, a 15-year war of attrition awaits us,” Cavoli said.

Mini, who was chief of general staff for the NATO command Southern Europe, knows NATO from inside, and wrote in an article published on Dec. 2 in Il Fatto, that NATO decided to preemptively attack Russia in 2022, a decision “pursued despite the route correction imposed by President Trump” at The Hague NATO summit, where Russia was no longer described as a short-term threat, but a long-term (over 10 years) one. “Such a statement has been ignored by major allies and by NATO itself, which instead considers Russia as a permanent enemy.”
