Zelenskyy’s New Economic Advisor Christia Freeland Is an Expert on Nazi Coverup

Canada’s former Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland was appointed as an economic advisor by Ukraine’s Acting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Jan. 5 . He posted on Telegram: “Chrystia is a professional ... and has significant experience in attracting investments and conducting economic transformations.” She was already Canada’s special representative for the “reconstruction” of Ukraine, appointed in 2025.

Her deliberate coverup of wartime Nazi collaborators, whom London had since parked in Canada, has not harmed her career. When attention was drawn to the fact that her grandfather, Mikhail Khomiak, was a publicist for the Nazis in Poland, Freeland tried to pass him off as a “political refugee from the regimes of Hitler and Stalin.” In fact Khomiak (aka Chomiak) was the editor-in-chief of Krakivski Visti, a Ukrainian-language newspaper in Nazi-occupied Poland and Austria that published Nazi propaganda and anti-Semitic material during World War II.
