South Korean President in China Urges for Neighborly Relations

South Korea’s Chosun Ilbo reports that President Lee Jae-myung, asked about anti-China sentiment in South Korea and anti-South Korea sentiment in China, replied: “Due to baseless and unnecessary misunderstandings and distortions, perceptions of each other have worsened, which seems to have hindered the development of Korea-China relations.” He emphasized, “We should minimize such misunderstandings, maximize friendly sentiments, and move forward together as excellent neighbors.”
