U.S. President Donald Trump left Switzerland believing he had made a deal on Greenland, and has now turned his attention back to Iran. “We have a lot of ships going that direction, just in case. …I’d rather not see anything happen, but we’re watching them very closely,” Trump, in his best mafioso impression, told reporters aboard Air Force One on his return to the United States. At another point, he said: “We have an armada ... heading in that direction, and maybe we won’t have to use it.”
In response to the threat of U.S. military action, the chief commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has warned against any miscalculation by those whom he referred to as “the enemies,” stressing that his forces have “their hands on the trigger” to implement the orders of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, reported PressTV.
