Zakharova on Healey: ‘Salacious Fantasies of British Perverts'

Now that it is permissible in the West to openly discuss kidnapping foreign leaders, British Defense Minister John Healey could not resist taking seriously a Kyiv Independent journalist, who had asked him which world leader he would choose to kidnap. Healey named Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing his “war crimes.” He cited the war crime of “the abduction of some Ukrainian children whom I met in Irpin.”

The “crime” cited was Putin’s policy decision to temporarily remove orphans and children lacking adult care from Ukrainian fire upon then Russian-controlled areas of the Donbas. So, any Ukrainian children that Healey met in Irpin were there because Russia had returned children to adults who could be identified as their parents or relatives.
