The police arrest Thursday morning of former Prince Andrew, now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the brother of Britain’s King Charles III, in connection with revelations from the international Jeffrey Epstein file, swings the gates even wider for potential clean up longtime oligarchical filth. The arrest was made on the royal property of Sandringham, Norfolk; then began police searches of these premises, and the former residence of Mountbatten-Windsor at Windsor. Designated as “under investigation,” he has since been released. The pending charges are described as being those of “public misconduct” while serving the function of the U.K. Special Representative for International Trade and Investment (2001-2011).
No surprise, nor coincidence, the Feb. 19 arrest comes at the very same time as this EIR.news media service sent out its EIR weekly to subscribers this morning, with the photograph (see above) of then-Prince Andrew on the cover, under the headline, “Is This the End of the Epstein Class?” Depending on what the world community does to clean up this historic, oligarchic, perverted mess, humanity can be on a road to a thriving future, not the Western collapse now at hand, with even the threat of annihilation from nuclear war.
What is at stake is described forcefully by Lyndon H. LaRouche (1922-2019) in his prologue to a 1994 EIR Special Report: “The Coming Fall of the House of Windsor.” This LaRouche writing is reprinted in the Feb. 19 weekly of EIR, which otherwise features an article, “What Was Jeffrey Epstein, Really?—Part 3: The Truth About Epstein Might Bring Down the British Monarchy,” the third installment in a 2026 EIR series by Harley Schlanger, president of The LaRouche Organization. Schlanger’s full series, plus additional material, is under preparation as a rush pamphlet for mass distribution in the United States.
In addition, an action group formed from an international dialogue on January 12, 2026, hosted by the EIR News Service online, has issued a “January 12 Declaration” of principle ("Let Us Create a Movement of World Citizens!”), given the world emergency, and is organizing for a March 2 conference, “Epstein and the Bottomless Depravity of the ‘Elites’—Urgent Need for a Cultural Renaissance!”
Within minutes of the arrest of Mountbatten-Windsor, a handwritten statement came from King Charles. Expressing “deepest concern” over the “news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office,” he wrote that, “the law must take its course.” He ended by subliminally expressing concern to continue on the throne: “My family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.” Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton reportedly concurred.
At the same time, Gordon Brown, former Prime Minister (2007-2010) at the time when then- Prince Andrew was trade representative, has supplied a five-page memorandum to the Thames Valley and other police jurisdictions, reportedly with leads to pursue on Mountbatten-Windsor’s sex-trafficking involvement. No word has yet been reported from former Prime Minister Tony Blair, who was Prime Minister (1997-2007) for six earlier years of Andrew’s trade envoy role, and can be expected to know all about it.
It needs repeating often: The sex and abuse degradation, the injurious financial and economic policies, are all one and the same complex of evil. It is time for justice and accountability across all fronts. Note that in the United States today, the British arrest has prompted Rep. Robert Garcia, Ranking Member of the Oversight Committee in Congress, to demand answers now from Britain, where it was long known that Andrew was favored and protected by Queen Elizabeth.
An immediate task is to intervene to restore morality and sanity in the world affairs of nations. Washington is perpetrating a showdown with the nation of Iran, with unprecedented U.S. military forces now located throughout the region. Today, Feb. 19, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that within the next 10 days, Iran must either agree to the terms of a deal with the U.S., or “bad things will happen.” He said this ironically at the Board of Peace he was hosting in Washington, D.C., with many national leaders present; Trump repeated it to reporters on Air Force One this afternoon en route to Georgia.
This is the leading, dangerous edge of other might-makes-right U.S. initiatives, at present, manifest, but not limited to the Western Hemisphere. On Feb. 18, U.S. Southcom commander Gen. Francis Donovan made a surprise visit to Venezuela, to confer on what the United States expects of that vassal nation, while meantime, its President and his wife remain locked up in New York City. On Feb. 17 in Peru, acting President José Jeri was impeached from office, in an operation with blatant U.S. involvement, to claim he was behaving favorably to Chinese envoys and China-built infrastructure, in particular the newly-built Chancay Port.
Plan to endorse the Jan. 12 Declaration against this lawlessness, attend the March 2 conference, and subscribe to EIR.news.
An excerpt from Lyndon LaRouche in today’s EIR weekly, reprinted from EIR’s 1994 “The Fall of the House of Windsor,” addresses what we are up against. It serves as the introduction to the 120-page EIR report, which documents the systemic economic, social, and geopolitical practices—imperialism—to keep people and nations down and suffering. In particular, Prince Philip Mountbatten, father of former Prince Andrew, played a leading international role. LaRouche wrote: “The evil permeating the criminality of the Prince [Philip Mountbatten] and his accomplices is very old, as old as the dimly lit fringes of earliest known history. The ultimate enemy is not this unfortunate Prince, but rather that specific tradition of criminality fairly described as ‘oligarchism.’ That oligarchism is the specific infectious agent responsible for the moral and mental sickness shown by the accused Prince and his accomplices. In selecting a just and prudent course of action in the matter of the ongoing criminality documented here, we must rise above the prevailing decadence of most current international legal and related practice, to cure the problem, rather than, as the victors pervert the post-World War II Nuremberg Trials, seeking to hide our own earlier negligence behind some conspicuous suffering imposed upon an inculpated scapegoat.”
