About 128 million Americans watched the Super Bowl yesterday. Some 57% of Americans engage in gambling, which is estimated to be a $209 billion per year “industry.” On top of that, 60% of Americans are “regular users” (at least once in the last month) of porn, which is a $100 billion per year “industry.” And 61.5 million Americans (23.4% of adults) used marijuana in 2024, with the total street value of all of Dope, Inc.’s drugs internationally estimated at about $1 trillion. In all of these areas—gambling, porn, and drugs—the percentages are appreciably higher in the younger cohorts than among older generations.
