Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has wasted no time taking command. “With the announcement of Imam Mojtaba Khamenei’s leadership, resistance operations under his official command have intensified significantly over the past six hours,” reported the Iranian Telegram channel The Enemy Watch at about 10:40 pm ET last night. During that time there have been new waves of missile and drone attacks from both Iran and Hezbollah.

“An American soldier was killed in an Iranian bombing of Saudi Arabia, while the U.S. Army also reported the death of a seventh soldier during ongoing operations. Explosions rocked Riyadh, and tankers stuck in the Arabian Gulf are expected to start moving soon. The Shayba oil field in Saudi Arabia was also struck by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. More than 400 launches from Lebanon toward Israel were reported in the last 24 hours, with loud explosions heard in Haifa and Kiryat. In Iraq, the Islamic Resistance targeted a U.S.-affiliated headquarters at Sulaymaniyah Airport and launched strong attacks on U.S. bases in Erbil using dozens of drones, carrying out 16 operations across Iraq and the region in total. In Jordan, the Ruwaished base was struck in fulfillment of the blood of the martyr Imam Ali Khamenei. Hezbollah continues fierce battles in Al-Adeesa, south Lebanon, while Iranian attacks have targeted U.S. positions in Kuwait, with explosions reported in Ali Sabah Al-Salem.”

Iranian media, citing an unnamed military source, have also reported a major escalation in Iran’s drone and missile strikes. “The downing of more than 82 American-Israeli drones since the beginning of the war, the downing of four F-15 fighter jets, and the destruction of advanced American and Israeli radars in the region have created a completely different situation in recent days regarding offense and defense, disrupting and altering enemy operations,” the source said, reported Tasnim..

As a result, the U.S. and Israel are now bombing “targets of low operational value” to instill fear and terror. “Such change in tactics and the severe reduction in the offensive and defensive magazine of the enemy indicates a significant development in favor of Iran,” the source noted, adding: “The enemy has been forced to use very expensive tools to strike ordinary centers that hold no military achievement for it, and this is one of the important signs of developments on the battlefield in favor of Iran.”

“The tactic of fear will not work for the enemy either. Soon, the enemy will see that the nightmare of destruction of its infrastructure has also materialized. The enemy is pursuing the theater completely contrary to what it had predicted,” the military source concluded.
