U.S.-Israeli War Against Iran: Macron Teams Up with Sánchez Against Trump!

Politico reported on March 4 that French President Emmanuel Macron, who just a few days before had expressed irritation at the American administration for not having solicited the Europeans to participate in their killing expedition against Iran, and had even proposed France take part in it, has finally decided to join Spanish Prime Minister Sánchez in opposing it!

Just after the attack on Iran, last Sunday, March 1, France, the U.K., and Germany had indeed signed an agreement, pledging to “work together with the U.S. and allies” to “take steps to defend our interests and those of our allies in the region, potentially by enabling necessary and proportionate defensive action to destroy Iran’s capability to fire missiles and drones at their source.”

What seems to have convinced Macron to finally move against U.S. President Donald Trump, is that Trump threatened Sánchez with a trade embargo, just as he had threatened Macron with an embargo on French champagne a few weeks ago, when the French President had declined to join Trump’s Board of Peace.
