Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov has said a Putin-Trump meeting could happen on the sidelines of the APEC summit in China in November, though no talks are currently planned. Putin, during a two-day visit to China, told President Xi Jinping he plans to attend the Shenzhen summit on November 18-19; Trump, who also traveled to China last week, has reportedly signaled the same. “If both leaders are in China, they will probably cross paths and hold some kind of meeting,” Ushakov told reporters, adding that while nothing has been agreed, “it is unlikely that anyone would refuse it.”
