More Controversy Over Alleged DIA Assessment of Israeli Spying

Controversy continues over an alleged DIA assessment of a growing threat of Israeli espionage against the U.S.. U.S. sources have indicated to The Jerusalem Post that they reject the Saturday Pentagon leak to NBC News which claims a special alert has been placed on Israeli espionage activity against the US, defining the leakers as likely anti-Operation Epic Fury sources, the Jerusalem Post claimed in a report posted yesterday. “In other words, there have always been ‘America First’ forces within the US, and even within the Pentagon, who opposed American intervention in Iran, and are angry at Israel for its role in helping convince US President Donald Trump to go to war,” the Post says.

The Post goes on to argue that intelligence sharing between the US and Israel is so extensive that “the standard line has been that there would be no need to spy on what is being voluntarily shared by both sides.”
