Keith Kellogg, former Special Representative of the U.S. President, called on Ukraine to burn down every refinery in Russia. “I would burn down every damn oil refinery Russia has today; I would take them all out of commission. I would say: Make them pay the price; bring the war to their doorstep,” he said in a speech Monday at the Warsaw Security Conference.
Kellogg also advocated for continued comprehensive U.S. support for Ukraine—military, financial, and economic. He claimed that a combination of Ukrainian strikes on Russian strategic targets and increased international support could ultimately convince Vladimir Putin that it is impossible to continue the war.
