Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy (53), who reported that it was likely Trump would resume the Iran war after the midterms and that the plans were “insane,” apparently suffered a stroke while attending his son’s hockey game on Saturday. Murphy was hospitalized and has now been transferred to Johns Hopkins for observation. According to his chief of staff, Allison Herwitt, he is responding well, and “we are optimistic he will make a full recovery.”

Ray McGovern commented when sharing a recent interview on X, “Pakistanis, Saudis, and Turks go to Tehran in frantic try to stop new US/Israeli attack on Iran that would end up destroying Gulf monarchies and the world economy. Sen Chris Murphy calls U.S. war plan ‘insane,’ then has a stroke. You can’t make this stuff up.”
