Merz added a bilateral loan of 1 billion.

According to media leaks, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense agreed with Diehl on the delivery of thousands of German Iris-T air defense missiles as well as additional launch systems. A contract for satellite technology was agreed upon with Hensoldt. Quantum is to further develop and produce interceptor drones for the Ministry of Defense. During his visit to Kiev, Merz visited Quantum to get a look at the various types of drones developed and manufactured partly in Germany and partly in Ukraine.
