Israel to Lebanon: ‘You Cease, We Fire’

In Lebanon, following the signing of the so-called framework agreement on Friday, June 26, Israel is continuing with its philosophy of “you cease, we fire.” The Israeli military said it carried out airstrikes on June 27 targeting “terror operatives” in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon, reported the Times of Israel. An Israeli military spokesperson said one strike on June 27 targeted “suspected terrorists who posted a threat to IDF soldiers” in the Nabatieh area. “The results of the strike are still being assessed.”
