In her “Ten Principles of a New International Security and Development Architecture,” Helga Zepp-LaRouche states: “A new world economic order is emerging, involving the vast majority of the countries of the Global South. The European nations and the U.S. must not fight this effort, but by joining hands with the developing countries, cooperate to shape the next epoch of the development of the human species to become a renaissance of the highest and most noble expressions of creativity!”
But how much do we know about the Global South? The voice of the Global South is suppressed and distorted by the Wall Street and London-dominated media outlets in the West. EIR is committed to breaking through those barriers.
EIR recently conducted video interviews with leading figures from Nigeria, Mali, and Uganda, interviews that we urge our readers to watch in order to understand strategic developments from the standpoint of the Global South.
1) Kissinger’s Ghost vs. The New Africa: David Hundeyin on NSSM 200 & the BRICS Paradigm. Daniel Burke of Executive Intelligence Review (EIR) spoke with renowned investigative journalist and founder of The Spearhead, David Hundeyin, to discuss the enduring legacy of Henry Kissinger’s 1974 National Security Study Memorandum 200—the so-called “Kissinger Report.”
2) Africa’s Future and Mankind’s: Africa-China Cooperation to End Colonialism. EIR spoke with Mubarak Mugabo, a founding fellow of the African Institute for the Belt and Road (https://afbri.org/) and a prominent Ugandan legal expert. Mugabo shares his unique perspective on how cooperation with China is helping African nations overcome “strategic bottlenecks"—such as poor infrastructure—that have blocked continental development.
3) Malians Against Terrorism in NYC. EIR News speaks to Ibrahim Diallo, Vice President of the Malian High Council in the USA, at a peaceful demonstration at the Malian Permanent Mission in New York City.
