The nations with the most total cases now are the United States, India, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, and Mexico, in that order; those where the most people have died of COVID-19, if those tabulations are accurate, are the United States, Brazil, India, Mexico, and the U.K., in that order. By region, the largest number of cases are now in Asia (over 80,000/day), followed closely by the Americas, excepting the United States (79,000/day). There are more than 23 million infections worldwide, and more than 800,000 deaths.
