A headline in today’s Daily Mail reads: “Wuhan Lab Leak Theory ‘IS Feasible’ Says British Intelligence as Evidence Mounts That Covid Was Engineered by Chinese Scientists.” They report that “British intelligence is working alongside their U.S. counterparts.” Biden’s order for a 90-day Intelligence Community investigation admits that there is no new evidence that the virus leaked from the lab. The report is open to being another “WMD” hoax based on no evidence, and could add to the current efforts to provoke a war. Mike Robinson, editor of the UK Column website, reminded EIR that former MI6 Chief Richard Dearlove, a leading Russiagate hoaxster, led the way in this campaign last year, telling the Telegraph on June 3, 2020: “I do not think that this [pandemic] started as an accident.… It raises the issue, if China ever were to admit responsibility, does it pay reparations? I think it will make every country in the world rethink how it treats its relationship with China.” On July 12, 2020, he told Sky News: “I subscribe to the theory ... that it’s an engineered escapee from the Wuhan Institute (of Virology).”
Tory Tom Tugendhat, chairman of the Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee and one of the leading hysterics against Russia and China, said May 29: ‘The silence coming from Wuhan is troubling. We need to open the crypt and see what happened to be able to protect ourselves in the future. That means starting an investigation, along with partners around the world and in the WHO.’”
The Daily Mail article goes further: “Meanwhile, an explosive new study claims Chinese scientists created Covid in a Wuhan lab, then tried to cover their tracks by reverse-engineering versions of the virus to make it look like it evolved naturally from bats.
“The paper’s authors, British Prof. Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen, wrote that they have had ‘prima facie evidence of retro-engineering in China’ for a year — but were ignored by academics and major journals.” Daily Mail reports that Dalgleish is a professor of oncology at St. George’s University, London, and Sørensen is chair of the pharmaceutical company, Immunor. “They said they tried to publish their findings but were rejected by major scientific journals,” they write, and: “Even when former MI6 Chief Sir Richard Dearlove spoke out publicly saying the scientists’ theory should be investigated, the idea was dismissed as ‘fake news.’”
