NASA Video Explains ‘Why the Moon?’

We are going back to the Moon, the Artemis team at NASA reminds Americans in its new “Why the Moon?” video, posted on Aug. 24. NASA has a history of breaking barriers, making technological breakthroughs, “and demonstrations of peace for all humankind.” Now, returning to that “treasure trove of science,” the Moon, is the natural next step in human exploration, in preparing for the work of establishing communities on Mars, in reaching out into the universe.
