Swiss Population Will Vote on Neutrality Status

The Swiss Popular Party (SVP) is collecting signatures to hold a referendum on whether to continue Switzerland’s historical neutrality status, violated by its adoption of anti-Russia sanctions. A popular referendum is common and a frequent event in Switzerland. EIR sources and supporters are confident that the government, NATO and the EU (which doesn’t include Switzerland) will be beaten in the vote.

The SVP is also calling for investments and aid to farmers in order to increase Swiss food self-sufficiency from the current 46% to 60%, by stopping and reversing Green Deal policies.
