The national security advisors of the BRICS nations are meeting in Johannesburg, one month ahead of the major BRICS summit there in August.
In addition to BRICS members Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, the meeting was attended by representatives from Belarus, Burundi, Cuba, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
