The German daily, Bild, citing unnamed official sources, reports that the German government has decided not to send its long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine in the foreseeable future. While the government has not not yet formally notified Kiev about the decision it has made, it is clear to those within the government that deliveries won’t happen for the time being.
The lack of a public announcement may leave the option open for German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, but Bild claims that the likelihood of such a decision is low. It notes, according to TASS, that Taurus missiles could be used to hit the Crimean Bridge.
