Russia has filed a complaint before the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) regarding Ukrainian threats to civilian air transport in Russian air space, TASS reported, and called for the agency to take measures to stop these threats. The ICAO response was non-committal: “We can confirm receipt of the letter and will respond in due course.”
Ukrainian acting president Zelensky had warned all commercial flights to avoid Moscow and St. Petersburg airspace, as Ukraine intended to flood that airspace with deadly drones.
