For the New Year: The Principle of Nemesis, and the Unstoppable Power of Truth

by Dennis Speed (EIRNS) — Jan. 01, 2024

Can the Ten Principles of a New International Strategic and Development Architecture offer a “New Deal” to the world? Can they be studied, accepted and implemented while there is yet still time to do so? As we enter the New Year, competent military professionals such as former KFOR (Kosovo Force) Italian commander Lt. Gen. Fabio Mini, give a considered, sober judgment that a tactical nuclear weapon will “probably” be used in the Southwest Asia conflict if Israeli casualties in the Gaza Strip run too high. Ukraine bombs Belgorod, Russia with NATO weapons. Russia militarily responds, and the Biden White House declares that “under certain conditions,” it will publicly enter into a war against Russia, thus formalizing a not-so-secret conflict that Washington and London have been waging against Russia for ten years, since February 2014. Will that be the “step too far” that the world has been trying to avoid since October 1962? Can anyone in Washington, or in London, recall the price paid by people and nations for criminal, disastrous arrogance, such as Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery’s catastrophe, “Operation Market Garden” in 1944? This time, no recovery may be possible. What is to be done?

More, there is well-grounded speculation, as a result of an article that appeared in Financial Times, that, despite opposition from even the International Monetary Fund, central banks, and the legal departments of the European Commission and the British government itself, as well as many economists, the City of London and Wall Street are going to confiscate—that is, steal—the $300 billion of Russian assets frozen since 2022, possibly in February, or sooner. The Anglosphere, with its $2 quadrillions worth of unpayable debt, sees perpetual war as the only pathway to continue to feed the insatiable cancer that is their very existence, impoverishing their own populations in the process—as in King Charles’ “war footing for climate change.”

These two policies are not only both insane—they are one. Rational people find them incomprehensible. But as Lyndon LaRouche was told in the 1970s, by an Israeli interlocutor: “Mr. LaRouche, never underestimate the factor of insanity in politics.”

In a Dec. 5 interview, Paul Salvatori, a Toronto-based journalist who is also senior producer for the TRT (Turkish Radio and Television) world network, interviewed musician Roger Waters, well-known in Israel because he had, in 2006, staged what was then the largest concert in Israel’s history. Salvatori asked the following: “But I’m wondering how specifically the events that have transpired since October 7th have affected you?”

Waters replied: “Like anybody with a heart, I spend my life teetering on the verge of tears…. Because you can’t possibly put yourself in that position, in their position. Those mothers and fathers, those children, those 2.3 million, well a bit less now, people living in Gaza being bombarded by F-16s day and night, week after week after week. One cannot even begin to imagine what it must be like and that it’s being cheered on by the most powerful empire in the world is disgusting beyond all belief. And not to mention B’nai Brith in your country [Canada], and Trudeau—he’s cheering it all on as well. What is wrong with these people? How could they possibly be doing that? How can they still be trying to cast the Israelis as victims?

“I’m sorry my voice was beginning to rise, because it’s so insane in what they do and what the Israelis are doing. It’s beyond all imagination. It’s beyond our capacity to imagine such evil.”

It is far, far worse. Because it is we, not merely the Palestinians, who are the targets, as well. Because if we allow this, if we fail, then the 100 million souls, combatants and non-combatants, who died in World War Two, including the more than 6 million Jewish victims of a Holocaust that killed millions more, will have been murdered a second time. Never underestimate the factor of insanity in politics? Yes, absolutely. But what is to be done about it? How do you fight?

It was exactly 50 years ago, Dec. 31,1973-Jan. 1,1974, that Lyndon LaRouche and his associates launched “Operation Nuremberg,” a campaign against the Nazi brainwashers then rampant in the United States, who sought to, in the words of LaRouche, “impose a ‘1984’-style totalitarian government in the U.S.A. and Great Britain.” The 1970s had seen the upwelling of a rash of truly bizarre terrorist operations, operations managed through pharmacological and other brainwashing methods (such as the now-forgotten “Symbionese Liberation Army” which kidnapped heiress Patty Hearst) and was created by operatives of United States Army intelligence through the “prison outreach program” of the University of California in Berkeley’s Black Studies group at Vacaville Prison under “Phoenix” veteran Colston Westbrook.

LaRouche and his associates, through intelligence investigations designed by LaRouche personally, demonstrated that the terrorism, both in the United States and Europe, came from capacities, centered in the British Tavistock Institute for Human Relations, and which were developed in the 1954-1962 Algerian War “counter-terror” programs, in Kenya by Brigadier General Frank Kitson, and in the Vietnam “Operation Phoenix” assassination/terror program. Certain of these capabilities had even been deployed in the direction of LaRouche and his associates, partly because of LaRouche’s exposure of precisely these operations afoot in the United States in the Spring and Summer of 1973. It was necessary to name the crime, and name the criminals committing it, and that’s what LaRouche dared to do.

The 1983 book, LaRouche: Will This Man Become President? reports: “There was an optimal assassination of LaRouche in place, but the principal character of this elaborate, trans-Atlantic operation was, we learned in due course, ‘Chaos and Confusion,’ an attempt to destroy an entire organization at almost one stroke through psychological warfare methods. Into the midst of this stepped the New York Times, which published the first of its major, page one libels against LaRouche during January 1974. As to the assassination potential, New York Police Intelligence took the matter seriously, especially after the identities of the terrorist group were confirmed as being in New York City. Relevant agencies confirmed to members of the New York City press that there was a threat of potential assassination against LaRouche. The New York office of the FBI, which had direct knowledge of the plotting around the leadership of the Communist Party, refused to concern itself.” Not only was LaRouche not assassinated, nor anyone else in his organization. The association that he founded, and spin-off organizations and publications created by his movement, have exercised a dominant voice, and even a role in policymaking, for a half-century. That was achieved despite the fact that the LaRouche organization, according to the late former United States Attorney General Ramsey Clark, was subjected, illegally and with malice, by federal law enforcement agencies to “a broader range of deliberate and systematic misconduct and abuse of power over a longer period of time in an effort to destroy a political movement and leader, than any other federal prosecution in my time or to my knowledge.”

The difference between then, and now, is that everyone in the United States, and in the trans-Atlantic world, is now being given “the LaRouche treatment,” even former Presidents, and the immediate family members of former Presidents. Self-government is being ended, before your very eyes. We are all being directly, personally targeted by brainwashers, who shape and twist the inside of people’s minds through the ubiquitous screens they are now addicted to. Why is this so seemingly effective? It works because the most insidiously effective form of slavery is volunteered slavery. British brainwasher Aldous Huxley told students at Berkeley the game plan—a game plan that he and his brother, Julian, had largely devised—over 60 years ago:

“There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution.”

Less quoted from the same speech, but of particular importance for this strategic moment, is an earlier Huxley passage: “Today we are faced, I think, with the approach of what may be called the ultimate revolution, the final revolution, where man can act directly on the mind-body of his fellows. Well, needless to say, some kind of direct action on human mind-bodies has been going on since the beginning of time. But this has generally been of a violent nature. The techniques of terrorism have been known from time immemorial, and people have employed them with more or less ingenuity—sometimes with the utmost cruelty, sometimes with a good deal of skill, acquired by a process of trial and error, finding out what the best ways of using torture, imprisonment, constraints of various kinds.”

There are many methods of brainwashing through terrorism. Consider the past 22 years, from September 11, 2001 in particular, and what has been done in the name of the “War on Terrorism since then.” Is there anything actually left of the American civilian economy, or is it predominantly tied to war?

Consider the similarity between “9/11” and October 7, 2023. Then ask the question: Do we really know how these events occurred? Do we have the courage to question any longer? It has been noted by LaRouche street organizers, and those involved in the International Peace Coalition, or other ventures, that the American population have been terrorized. Whether it be the January 6 “insurrection” caper run by multiple Anglo-American intelligence agencies; the cumulative shock-effect of multiple unending lose-lose wars; or the multiply-connected, personally-directed “asocial media” behavior modification that makes people afraid that if they say what they think, or do what they know is right, they will lose their job, it amounts, in the final analysis, to a system of terrorized, but complicit, volunteered slavery.

“The basic assumption for the new paradigm is, that man is fundamentally good and capable to infinitely perfect the creativity of his mind and the beauty of his soul, and being the most advanced geological force in the universe, which proves that the lawfulness of the mind and that of the physical universe are in correspondence and cohesion, and that all evil is the result of a lack of development, and therefore can be overcome.” This, the tenth principle of Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s “Ten Principles of a New International Security and Development Architecture,” is our principle of Nemesis, to be used to haunt the waking and sleeping hours of the indifferent, as well as the guilty. An “Operation Nuremberg” properly done today, must go beyond naming the name of “unimaginable evil,” to demand the inalienable right that every individual member of humanity be creative and productive. That “special operation” can lift the chains of illusion and volunteered slavery from the hearts and minds of the people. That is a New Year resolution devoutly to be wished of all.
