Xi Jinping Sends ‘Special Representative’ to the Non-Aligned Summit in Uganda

China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning announced Jan. 12 that CPC Central Committee Political Bureau and Vice Premier of the State Council Liu Guozhong has been named as a Special Representative of Xi Jinping to attend the 19th Non-Aligned Movement Summit and the Third South Summit in Uganda from Jan. 15-20, and will then visit Algeria, Cameroon and Tanzania upon invitation from Jan. 15-24.
