The Kiev regime is still pushing to use long-range weapons supplied by the U.S. against targets deep inside Russia. Their logic, reports The Hill, is British logic: Russia has not responded to the Kursk attack with any new escalation of its own, leading Ukrainians to push for the lifting of the long-range strike restriction.
The Hill quotes liberally from the neocon Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and other such outfits calling for the expansion of the war deeper into Russia. It cites Steven Horrell, a CEPA nonresident senior fellow, saying that one potential objective of the Kursk attack is to prove there are no more red lines in the war. Therefore, he argued, the U.S. should lift its restrictions on the use of U.S.-supplied weapons.
