Former British Foreign Secretary Lord William Hague sent a message yesterday to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, in his appearance on The Telegraph’s podcast “Daily T.” Lord William Hague was quoted by The Telegraph as saying : “It’s in Trump’s best interests, his own best interests, to maintain the strength of the West of these things,” Choosing an image meant to get Trump’s attention, Hague claimed that abandoning Ukraine would be a “much greater humiliation” for Trump’s administration than suffered by Biden’s administration in withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, which was used by Yahoo’s headline on Hague’s appearance: “Abandoning Ukraine Would Be Bigger U.S. Failure than Afghanistan, Says Hague.” Ukraine’s ZN,UA also covered Hague’s remarks.
