Reuters this morning reported on the “very high probability” of Bashar al-Assad’s death in a plane crash. Assad is very much alive. EIR is now reporting on the “very high probability” that Reuters, after deleting their report, will neither apologize for their hyperventilating nor improve the quality of their “Syrian sources.” For the record, here is Reuter’s now-missing report: “Two Syrian sources said there was a very high probability that Assad may have been killed in a plane crash as it was a mystery why the plane took a surprise U turn and disappeared off the map according to data from the Flightradar website.”
